Jose Abreu Continues Slump, Goes Hitless In Win
4 years agoChicago White Sox first baseman Jose Abreu went 0-for-4 with a walk and three strikeouts in a 4-3 win over the Pirates on Wednesday evening. It was the third time in his last four games that he went hitless, as he's now slashing .210/.246/.339 with one home run, seven RBI and six runs scored over his last 15 games. There's definitely been a drop in production from the reigning AL MVP, but he's still provided decent value in fantasy by slashing .242/.318/.438 with 12 home runs, 53 RBI and 33 runs scored over 69 games this year. Managers will hope that he can have a better performance in the second half of the season.
