3 years agoChicago White Sox first baseman Jose Abreu continued his impressive second half with a two-hit performance in Tuesday's victory versus the Pittsburgh Pirates. Abreu went 2-for-4 and hit a solo home run off of Bryse Wilson in the bottom of the third inning. The returns of outfielders Luis Robert and Eloy Jimenez in the second half have benefited the first baseman the most with the added protection they have given him in the lineup. Abreu is starting to put up the numbers managers expected and he is now hitting .265 with 28 home runs and 102 RBI.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
