3 years agoChicago White Sox first baseman Jose Abreu went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Thursday's loss versus the Kansas City Royals. Abreu homered for the second consecutive contest and is starting to warm up. Abreu has had a down year by his standards with a .245 batting average, but he has made up for that with 20 home runs and 81 RBI. Abreu has gotten more protection with Eloy Jimenez returning to the lineup and more protection should be coming with Luis Robert (hip) expected to return as soon as next week.
