3 years agoChicago White Sox first baseman Jose Abreu went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's victory versus the Chicago Cubs. Abreu is starting to heat up and now has eight hits over his last 25 at-bats with three home runs and seven RBI. Abreu has been having a down season by his standards, but has gotten extra protection with outfielder Eloy Jimenez returning to the lineup and outfielder Luis Robert (hip) getting close to returning. Abreu is now hitting .247 with 21 home runs and 83 RBI. He should continue to be a strong source of power in all formats.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
