Jose Abreu In Saturday's Lineup
4 years agoChicago White Sox first baseman Jose Abreu (knee/face) has been cleared to play on Saturday and he will bat fourth versus the Kansas City Royals. Abreu survived a nasty collision with Royals infielder Hunter Dozier in Game 1 of Friday's doubleheader and was removed in the top of the second inning with a facial contusion and laceration. He also suffered a bruised left knee in the contest. It's great news to see Abreu in the lineup and fantasy managers could take big a sigh of relief. The slugger has been heating up and has eight hits in his last 19 at-bats with one home run and nine RBI. Abreu will square off versus Mike Minor on Saturday.
