Jose Abreu Ruled Out For Game 2 On Sunday
3 years agoChicago White Sox first baseman Jose Abreu (knee) is not in the starting lineup for the second game of Sunday's doubleheader versus the Seattle Mariners. He was removed during the first game after taking a pitch off his knee. The X-rays came back negative and Abreu is being considered day-to-day with a bruised knee. It appears the team is being cautious and keeping him out of the second game on Sunday. Fantasy managers can be hopeful that Abreu returns early next week, but at least it wasn't anything serious.
