4 years agoLooking to get back in championship form, former UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo put on one of his best performances since his championship reign, defeating Pedro Munhoz by unanimous decision on Saturday. Statistically, Aldo landed a very solid 114 significant strikes, with neither fighter attempting a takedown. Aldo did a great job pushing the pace, and he has looked like a reborn fighter at bantamweight. The finishes haven't been there lately, but Aldo has shown that he still has shades of the former champion in him, and he can give anyone in the division a run for their money.--Matt Bricker - RotoBaller
