4 years agoHouston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve, third baseman Alex Bregman, designated hitter Yordan Alvarez, infielder Robel Garcia and catcher Martin Maldonado (COVID-19 protocols) are all unlikely to return during Houston's five-game road trip to Seattle and Colorado, according to Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle. The five players were placed on the COVID-19 injured list shortly before game time on Wednesday, and there is no indication currently if any of them have tested positive. For now, managers should assume all five players will miss the series in Seattle and Colorado, and they should continue to check for updates on their status for the home series against the Angels.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
