Jose Altuve Back At Second Base
2 years agoHouston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve (leg) is back at second base on Sunday against Oakland Athletics right-hander Adam Oller after he served as the designated hitter on Saturday. Altuve is also in his customary leadoff spot. The 32-year-old All-Star sat out of Friday's game after being hit by a pitch on Thursday. Although he'll sit out of the All-Star game next week, Altuve should be just fine for the start of the second half of the season. Altuve went 1-for-4 with a strikeout in Saturday's game, and he's hitting .276/.371/.524 with an .895 OPS, 17 home runs, 33 RBI, 48 runs scored and eight stolen bases in 318 plate appearances on the season. Keep him in your starting lineups.
