4 years agoHouston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve could make his return to the lineup this weekend. Altuve has been able to lift and run and is in good spirits, per manager Dusty Baker. Baker noted that the All-Star second baseman is doing much better, with a real chance of getting back into the lineup this weekend for the four-game series against the Angels, or early next week. The struggling Astros' lineup could use Altuve's presence back at the top, as he was off to a good start with a .318 average and 11 runs scored in his first 11 contests.--Tim Capurso
