6 years agoHouston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve (hamstring) will be pausing his rehab assignment due to soreness in his right knee. Altuve has been on the Injured List since May 11 with a hamstring strain in his left leg. However, the pause in his rehab assignment is due to soreness in his right knee, the same knee he had surgery on last October. Altuve will return to Houston for further evaluation by team doctors on Wednesday. This is obviously not good news for fantasy owners who were expecting the star second baseman to return this week. Altuve was slashing .243/.329/.427 with nine home runs and only one stolen base when he went on the IL.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
