6 years agoHouston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve went 1-for-5 in the Astros 8-4 loss to the A's on Saturday. Altuve has cooled off at the plate, going 2-for-15 over his last three games, but has collected a hit in 13 of his last 15 games. The former MVP is still having a resurgent second half to his season and is slugging .627 in the month of August with six home runs. Altuve's hot streak has lasted long enough that fantasy owners should expect elite production from the second baseman the rest of the season.--Joey C - RotoBaller
