3 years agoHouston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve will try and snap out of the 'dog days' of August when the team goes on the road to play the Royals Monday night. Through 12 games this month, Altuve is slashing only .191/.255/.213 with only one extra-base hit. Altuve is enjoying a nice bounce back season but has been quiet offensively for some time now. The former MVP is hitting only .232 over his last 125 at-bats and, even more troubling, is posting a .282 on-base percentage during that span from the leadoff spot. Altuve's DFS value takes another hit when he plays on the road, posting a mediocre .735 OPS through 50 road games this season.--Joey C - RotoBaller
