4 years agoHouston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve will try and snap out of a 2-for-28 slump heading into Wednesday's action against the Yankees. Altuve was hitting .347 on April 26 but the rut at the dish has seen his average plummet to .247. The season is full of ups and downs but there are several alarming aspects to Altuve's offense right now. His current .628 OPS is well below league average and he is a frightening 3-for-36 (.083) against right-handed pitching this season. Until he can improve against righties, putting Altuve into DFS lineups will be a volatile endeavor.--Joey C - RotoBaller
