6 years agoHouston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve went 1-for-5 in the team's 9-5 loss to the Twins on Monday. After homering in five straight games, Altuve has dipped into a minor funk at the dish. Over his last seven games, Altuve is only 5-for-26 (.192) with only one extra-base hit and six strikeouts. This dip in production shouldn't concern fantasy owners too much, as Altuve is off to a positive start to his season. He still is a must-start over the next few games at home, where Altuve is currently slashing .379/.424/.828 through the first month of the young season.--Joey C - RotoBaller
