4 years agoHouston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve went 2-for-4 with three runs scored in the Astros 8-4 victory over the A's on Thursday. Altuve is now slashing .352/.420/.563 in the month of May and has scored at least one run in 11 of his last 13 games. After a sluggish start to the season the former MVP has even flashed some power from the leadoff spot, posting six extra-base hits over his last 55 at-bats. Altuve's current .837 OPS is back in line with his career output and his offense has elevated him to one of the better DFS selections among second basemen heading into the weekend.--Joey C - RotoBaller
