6 years agoHouston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve is not in the lineup for the Astros Friday night matchup against the Rangers. Altuve is day-to-day with a lingering knee issue that he had been trying to play through recently. But Altuve is hitting only .240 over his last 25 at-bats which may have prompted the team to make the decision to sit the reigning MVP. Altuve is having another fantastic season and a disabled list stint, at this time, has not been reported. Fantasy owners will have to hang tough over the weekend as Altuve may miss a few games with the bigger picture in mind.--Joey C - RotoBaller
