5 years agoHouston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve will try and get his season jump started, beginning Friday night against the A's. Altuve put together a strong five-game stretch last week but is only 1-for-13 over his last four games. The former MVP has really struggled this season, posting an abysmal .593 OPS through his first 126 at-bats, with only eight extra-base hits. The pressure has been on Altuve all offseason with the Astros cheating scandal, and his subpar start adds more fuel to that fire. The 30-year-old is not a safe bet in DFS leagues for this weekend's action.--Joey C - RotoBaller
