5 years agoRetired outfielder Jose Bautista quieted rumors about him coming back as a pitcher in an interview with Sirius MLB Network Radio. Earlier in the week, it was reported that Bautista was working out with Mets pitcher Marcus Stroman with intentions of coming back as a two-way player. While it is unlikely to see Bautista on the mound anytime soon, he did leave open the possibility of making a return to the Big Leagues. He mentioned that if a team called about him coming back as a two-way player he'd be dumb to say no, but he is not planning to come back as a pitcher as of now.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
