Jose Berrios Dominates White Sox Thursday
7 years agoMinnesota Twins right-hander Jose Berrios was dominant in an outing against the Chicago White Sox on Thursday. The 23-year-old held Chicago scoreless over seven innings, striking out 11 and allowing just three hits. He picked up the win to improve his record to 2-1 on the season to go along with a 2.18 ERA and 24 strikeouts in 20 2/3 innings of work. Better still, Berrios has walked just one batter all season after spending much of the offseason adjusting his mechanics to improve his control. You are seeing the young right-hander blossom into a true No. 1 starter right in front of your eyes. He will look to keep rolling against the Cleveland Indians in his next start.
