4 years agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher Jose Berrios didn't factor into the decision in Monday's loss to the Indians. Berrios pitched 5 2/3 innings, surrendering a pair of runs on five hits while striking out three batters with one walk. The Puerto Rican righty had pitched five scoreless frames before running into trouble in the bottom half of the sixth, as he walked the leadoff batter, then got two quick outs before surrendering both of his runs on a double and a single. Berrios generated only three whiffs, though he still pitched well enough for the win. He'll look to miss more bats in his next outing on May 2 against the Royals. Berrios owns a 4.66 career ERA in 15 starts against Kansas City.--Tim Capurso
