3 years agoMLB.com's Jon Morosi reported the San Diego Padres and Los Angeles Dodgers are interested in Minnesota Twins starter Jose Berrios. Inquiries regarding the 27-year-old right-hander have spiked after multiple reports suggest the Twins have upped their desire to sell. Currently boasting a 3.48 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 26 percent strikeout rate, Berrios would certainly bolster both rival squads that have endured myriad setbacks to their rotations. Berrios is also arbitration-eligible in 2022, enhancing his attractiveness. Berrios has been a reliable arm in six big league seasons, carrying a 4.08 ERA in 135 career starts. While a potential move to the NL appears to enhance his fantasy value, it'll likely be negated by his departure from a weak AL Central. Whatever happens, Berrios should remain a solid SP2/3 in all mixed formats.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
