5 years agoMinnesota Twins right-hander Jose Berrios was excellent in a no-decision against the Seattle Mariners on Wednesday. Berrios held Seattle to one run over 6 2/3 innings of work while striking out six. Seattle was winning 1-0 when he departed during the seventh inning but the game wound up 9-6 in favor of the Mariners in 10 innings. Berrios is putting together a fantastic season, posting an 8-2 record, 3.01 ERA, 1.10 WHIP, and 84 strikeouts in 89 2/3 innings of work. He shouldn't have much trouble putting up the first 20-win season of his career with the way the Twins are playing. Berrios is lined up to face the Boston Red Sox on Monday for his next start.--Matt T - RotoBaller
