4 years agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher Jose Berrios looked sharp in his Grapefruit League debut against the Red Sox on Wednesday. Berrios pitched two scoreless innings, allowing one hit and no walks while striking out three batters on a total of 26 pitches. The Puerto-Rican right-hander had a good mix of pitches between his fastball, curveball, sinker, and change, getting a pair of punch-outs with the heater and freezing one batter with the curve. The spring debut doesn't mean much of anything in the grand scheme of things, though Berrios certainly showed why many have thought he has the makings of an ace. He profiles as a SP2/3 with untapped SP1 potential at his 82 ADP.--Tim Capurso
