3 years agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher Jose Berrios picked up his sixth win of the season in Saturday's 5-4 victory over the Kansas City Royals. Berrios pitched six innings, allowing four runs on six hits with a pair of walks issued. He struck out four batters. Berrios got a lot of help from his offense, as each time he surrendered the lead, the Twins picked the lead back up for him the following inning. Berrios is now 6-2 with a 3.58 ERA and a 73:19 strikeout-to-walk ratio. His 4.67 expected ERA and career-worst .339 expected wOBA suggest that perhaps he's gotten a bit lucky this season, though he's unlikely to completely fall off of a cliff in terms of his performance.--Tim Capurso
