Jose Berrios Roughed Up On Friday
3 years agoToronto Blue Jays right-hander Jose Berrios did not fare well in his Opening Day start against the Texas Rangers on Friday. Berrios got just one out in the game while coughing up four runs on three hits and two walks. He was replaced in the game by Tayler Saucedo after throwing 34 pitches, 18 of which went for strikes. While the rough outing wasn't what fantasy gamers wanted to see out of Berrios in his 2022 debut, he remains one of the better starting pitchers in baseball and should be given the benefit of the doubt. Berrios will look to get back on track in his next start, which will come on the road against the New York Yankees on Wednesday.
