2 years agoToronto Blue Jays pitcher Jose Berrios allowed two runs on three hits and two walks while striking out 13 across seven innings in Saturday's 12-3 win over the Minnesota Twins. He picked up his fourth win of the season. The 28-year-old was efficient on Saturday, throwing 90 pitches and firing 58 for strikes. He bounced back in a big way, striking out a career-high 13 batters after being blasted for six earned runs in 2 1/3 innings in his previous start. Berrios owns a 5.24 ERA, 1.41 WHIP, and a 49:16 K: BB across 56 2/3 innings in 2022. The right-hander will look to keep things rolling in Friday's start on the road against the Detroit Tigers.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
