6 years agoMinnesota Twins right-hander Jose Berrios turned in a quality start against the Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday but had to settle for his seventh loss of the season. Berrios allowed three runs over seven innings, striking out three and walking two. He allowed just five hits, but three went for solo homers, tying a career high for homers allowed in a game by the young hurler. Berrios' progress has been one of the few bright spots for what has been a disappointing season for the Twins. He now has an 8-7 record, 3.54 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 114 strikeouts in 114 1/3 innings of work this year.--Matt T - RotoBaller
