Jose Berrios Turns In Quality Start On Tuesday
6 years agoMinnesota Twins right-hander Jose Berrios allowed three runs over seven innings in a 5-4 win over the Kansas City Royals on Tuesday. Berrios struck out four and walked none in taking a no-decision. While it wasn't the same dominance that he showed in his Opening Day start, Berrios continues to look like a true ace, both in fantasy and real life. He now has a 1.84 ERA and 14 strikeouts in 14 2/3 innings of work. Up next, he is scheduled to take on the New York Mets next Tuesday. The Mets have been good against right-handers in a small sample this season but Berrios is too good to leave on the bench.
