2 years agoNew York Mets pitcher Jose Butto will start Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies. He is the Mets' 15th-ranked prospect and was recently promoted to Triple-A Syracuse after spending most of this season in Double-A Binghamton. The 24-year-old posted a 4.00 ERA, 1.31 WHIP, and 108.35 K: BB across 92 1/3 innings in 2022. Butto's turn in the rotation could be short as the team might send him back to Triple-A after Sunday's start.
