4 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Jose De Leon continued to rack up the strikeouts, although it wasn't all good news in his Cactus League start against the Chicago White Sox on Thursday. De Leon allowed seven runs over four innings of work while striking out seven. The veteran hurler cruised through the first three innings before giving up four runs in the fourth and another two runs in the fifth. He was relieved in the fifth inning before recording an out. De Leon has picked up 24 strikeouts over 16 2/3 innings of work this spring but he also has an 8.64 ERA. He is on the roster bubble and could open the year in the minors.--Matt T - RotoBaller
