6 years agoLos Angeles Angels first baseman Jose Fernandez is not in Wednesday's lineup against Yohander Mendez and the Texas Rangers. Fernandez has been LA's primary first baseman over the last month, but will give way to the right-handed hitting Jefry Marte, who is batting sixth. Fernandez is slashing .261/.293/.378 with two home runs and one steal on the year, and is not worth owning in most fantasy formats. Marte would be a nice, cheap 1B option in DFS formats today against a subpar left-hander.--patton
