3 years agoLos Angeles Angels shortstop Jose Iglesias went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI and one run scored during Sunday's loss to the Seattle Mariners. He was the only Angels hitter to avoid the strikeout, while the rest of the lineup combined for 15 of them. After batting .373 in last year's shortened season, his average has dipped to a still respectable .284 with 29 RBI, 38 runs and four stolen bases. He's been very hot lately, slashing .397/.435/.586 since June 28. He has a career .382 slugging percentage, though, so don't expect him to continue his power surge. But he can benefit fantasy managers in need of batting average if they are willing to overlook his deficiencies in other categories.--Spencer Seguin - RotoBaller
