Jose Iglesias Drives In Six In Win Over Padres
2 years agoColorado Rockies shortstop Jose Iglesias had a night in the 10-6 win over the San Diego Padres on Wednesday, going 3-for-5 with his third home run of the season, a career-high six RBI and one run scored. Not known for much of a standout with his bat, Iglesias is now hitting .305/.344/.409 with 31 RBI, 28 runs scored and two stolen bases in 269 at-bats for the Rockies this year. He's been especially hot in the month of July, going 15-for-43 (.349) with two home runs, 10 RBI and seven runs scored in 11 games so far this month. The 32-year-old veteran infielder will continue to play nearly every day in Colorado, so fantasy managers in deeper leagues need to continue riding his hot bat while it lasts.
