Jose Iglesias Is Off To A Slow Start This Season
7 years agoDetroit Tigers shortstop Jose Iglesias will never be a hugely productive fantasy shortstop, but he's off to an unusually slow start this season. Iglesias is a career .268 hitter and has topped the .300 mark twice since joining the Tigers in 2013. He's especially good with runners in scoring position, posting a slash line of .327/.385/.586 with RISP in 2017. So far in 2018, though, Iglesias has just one hit in 16 at-bats and has already missed a day of action following a collision with outfielder Alex Reyes. Iggy is a player to avoid at all costs for now.
