Jose Iglesias Steals Career-High 12th Base
6 years agoDetroit Tigers shortstop Jose Iglesias swiped his 12th base of the season on Tuesday, setting a career high despite being just 70 games into the campaign. He's only been caught stealing on three occasions. The veteran shortstop is a possible trade chip for the Tigers this year as they're in the midst of a rebuild. Iglesias doesn't offer anything in terms of power, but his .261 average is at least serviceable, and he's on pace to steal over 20 bags. You could do worse at the shortstop position in deep AL-only leagues.
