7 years agoDetroit Tigers shortstop Jose Iglesias (abdomen) will visit with core muscle/groin specialist Dr. William Meyers on Tuesday. Iglesias' progress has been slow from a lower abdominal strain, and the team wants to make sure the injury isn't worse than expected. The shortstop hasn't played since Aug. 29, and it's increasingly unlikely that he'll make it back in the final weeks.
