Jose Marmolejos Hits His Third Homer
4 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Jose Marmolejos went deep for the third time on Monday, hitting a laser of a shot off of Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Dustin May. The lefty swinger took a 98.9 MPH fastball and turned it around with a 114.1 MPH exit velocity. It was a low line drive, with a launch angle of only 17 degrees. Marmolejos has been excellent at supplying power through 33 at-bats, posting a .545 slugging percentage. With Kyle Lewis set to return Tuesday, Marmolejos could be in for a reduction in playing time, but fantasy managers in daily leagues should keep an eye on how Marmolejos is utilized. He's very useful against right-handed pitching.
