3 years agoSeattle Mariners first baseman/outfielder Jose Marmolejos was recalled to the major leagues from Triple-A Tacoma Monday. Relief pitcher Jimmy Yacabonis was designated for assignment in a corresponding move. Marmolejos has played in 72 games at Triple-A this year, and produced a .360 batting average with 23 homers and 71 RBI. His 1.152 OPS is the highest in the minor leagues. With several matchups against righty pitchers coming up, the lefty-swinging Marmolejos is worth an add-and-start, and could be a sneaky DFS play.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
