Jose Peraza Drives In One Run Wednesday
6 years agoCincinnati Reds shortstop Jose Peraza turned in a big game against the Kansas City Royals on Wednesday. Peraza went 2-for-5 with a double, a run, and one RBI in his team's 7-0 win. The young infielder is now batting .267 with a .640 OPS, two homers, 34 runs, 18 RBI, and nine steals this season. Peraza doesn't have much power and he has struggled to get on base over his career, but he does have some stolen base upside and should continue to score runs hitting in front of Joey Votto and Scooter Gennett. Peraza isn't productive enough to be a starter in standard mixed leagues but he is a fantasy option in NL-only leagues
