4 years agoBoston Red Sox second baseman Jose Peraza will handle leadoff duties Sunday vs Orioles starter Wade LeBlanc. Peraza was in the nine-hole for the team's first two games, but had a big night Friday vs another lefty starter so he's in the leadoff spot today vs LeBlanc. If he's to lead off, even just vs left-handers, that would be a big boost to his fantasy value. Last season, Peraza batted .287 vs southpaws compared to .220 vs righties.
