4 years agoChicago Cubs left-handed pitcher Jose Quintana has been given the thumbs up to rejoin the club’s pitching staff, but now manager David Ross will have to decide how to utilize him. Over his eight-year Major League career, Quintana has made just four relief appearances, three of which were during his rookie year. But with the southpaw not completely stretched out as he works his way back from a thumb ailment, Chicago may limit his workload even if he is ultimately tabbed to start.
