4 years agoLos Angeles Angels pitcher Jose Quintana is hoping to get his career back on track on the West Coast this season. Quintana was viewed as a "huge" acquisition for the Cubs back in 2017 but his effectiveness has been on the downslide ever since. Over the last three seasons, Quintana is 26-20 but his ERA has been on the rise and has posted an average WHIP of 1.33 during that time. The signing of Quintana by the Angels has basically been treated like an after-thought but the left-hander could still provide some quality innings. Through his first two spring starts, Quintana has not allowed a run or a hit through three innings with four strikeouts. Quintana should not be scooped up in upcoming drafts but could end up on the waiver wire radar if he can get off to a solid start.--Joey C - RotoBaller
