4 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Jose Quintana (thumb) threw a bullpen session on Monday. Quintana was never expected to miss much time with his thumb injury and it looks like he is making progress to return sooner than later. Alec Mills will be on the bump Tuesday versus the Reds, but is the likely candidate to be moved back to the bullpen once Quintana returns. Quintana has really struggled during his tenure as a Cub and fantasy owners would be wise to avoid him outside of very deep mixed leagues and DFS in favorable matchups.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
