6 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals first baseman Jose Martinez smacked a home run on Thursday, finishing the game 2-for-3 with a run scored and two RBI. He homered in the first inning to get the Cardinals off to a quick start, then added a single later in the game. Martinez hasn't shown as much power as expected, as Thursday's home run was just his sixth, but fantasy owners will take the .311 batting average.
