3 years agoCleveland Indians third baseman Jose Ramirez (ankle, foot) was removed in the top of the eighth inning from Friday's game against the Pirates after being hit by a pitch. He went 0-for-2 with a walk and a run scored before exiting. The severity of his ankle/foot injury is unknown at this time, and an update should be provided after the game. Ramirez was replaced in Friday's contest by Ernie Clement. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor the situation and hope Cleveland's star third baseman won't miss any additional time.
