Jose Ramirez Goes Deep Twice Against Padres
2 years agoCleveland Guardians third baseman Jose Ramirez had a day on Wednesday in the 7-0 shutout win over the San Diego Padres, going 3-for-3 with two home runs, three RBI, two runs scored and a walk. Ramirez continues to do it all for his fantasy managers and remains a must-start on a daily basis in single-year leagues. The 29-year-old Dominican is now slashing .285/.355/.551 with a .906 OPS, 25 home runs, 103 RBI, 69 runs scored and 14 stolen bases in 510 plate appearances over 118 games for the Guardians. His 37 doubles lead the league. The four-time All-Star is hitting .275 (22-for-80) with four long balls, 19 RBI and 10 runs scored in 21 games in the month of August.
