Jose Ramirez Not Starting Sunday
2 years agoCleveland Guardians third baseman Jose Ramirez is not in the starting lineup on Sunday against the New York Yankees. Ramirez will take a seat after going a combined 1-for-7 with a double, walk and four strikeouts in Saturday's doubleheader against the Yankees. The 29-year-old switch-hitter remains a must-start in fantasy, though, when he's in the lineup, as he's hitting a strong .292/.377/.588 with a .966 OPS, 16 home runs, a league-leading 63 RBI, 46 runs scored and 12 stolen bases in 318 plate appearances over 73 games. Rookie Gabriel Arias will get the start at third base and is hitting third in the lineup against Yankees left-hander Jordan Montgomery. This will only be Arias' fifth major league game. He's gone 2-for-13 so far with an RBI and four strikeouts.
