Jose Ramirez Returns, Francisco Lindor Bats Leadoff
4 years agoThe Cleveland Indians lineup has been shuffled ahead of Friday’s contest against Minnesota and right-hander Kenta Maeda with Jose Ramirez returning to the mix, while Francisco Lindor slots into the leadoff spot for the first time this season. Ramirez missed Thursday’s contest due to a left thumb contusion, but despite the swelling, he’s back and in the No. 3 spot versus Maeda. Lindor will reclaim the leadoff spot that he has traditionally held down over the past two years, further increasing his DFS and season-long intrigue. Both have a stingy matchup against Maeda, but their return and new spots in the lineup may bode well for both moving forward.
