Jose Suarez Defeated In Tuesday's Game
3 years agoLos Angeles starting pitcher Jose Suarez (4-3) took the loss Tuesday against the Oakland Athletics, allowing four runs, one walk and one home run while striking out four. It was just Suarez's third start of the year after taking the struggling Dylan Bundy's spot in the rotation. He's put up good numbers this year with a 2.85 ERA and 1.12 WHIP while giving up five home runs in 41 innings. Fantasy managers should be careful, though, as he only strikes out 22.2% of batters faced, compared to a 9.6 BB%. He can be a feasible streaming option against weaker offenses, but his fantasy value is limited by his below-average strikeout and walk rates.
